How to deal with instrument smoke?

Instrument smoke is generally caused by overload, reduced insulation, high voltage, deterioration of resistance, and loose current connectors, resulting in virtual connections and open circuits. When detected, the meter and circuit should be quickly short circuited, and the voltage circuit should be disconnected. During operation, attention should be paid not to short circuiting the voltage coil and open circuit the current circuit, to avoid accidents such as protection malfunction and accidental contact.
