What responsibilities are allowed by duty personnel in case of abnormal faults in relay protection?

a. When abnormalities and accidents occur within the power plant and its systems, such as sudden drop in current surge voltage, system oscillation, overload, cycle oscillation, grounding, and automatic tripping of switches, the duty officer must do the following tasks:

① Check the situation of signal dropping and dropping;

② Check the sound and light signals emitted;

③ Check the automatic tripping of the switch and the action of the automatic device;

④ Monitor the changes in current, voltage cycle, and active power, record the above situations in detail in the record book, and then reset the signal according to regulations.

b. The results of the above inspections should be promptly notified to the shift supervisor, system scheduling, and workshop leaders.

c. The duty officer may handle the following situations on their own:

① Replace the light bulb and fuse;

② Select DC grounding.
